League of Legends – CCXP 2024 – Arcane Rescue in Stillwater Experience

Visitors step into the “elevator” in groups of 10 to 15, guided by two hosts dressed as members of one of the show’s clans, all with the mission of rescuing characters trapped in a maximum-security prison.
The elevator begins in the show’s main city and makes its way through the suburbs. Along the journey, there are plenty of sound Easter eggs—like Jinx’s laughs, a song from the series playing in the distance, and even Heimerdinger singing and playing the banjo.
When they reach the prison, which should be packed with people, it’s oddly silent—until a monster appears. In the show’s universe, this monster, Warwick, attacks anyone who smells blood.
Just before the final attack, one of the guides cuts her hand, causing the monster to attack them, while the other guide frantically tries to pull the lever and get the elevator moving again.
The guide closes the elevator door just in time, causing Warwick to tear at the doors with his claws before climbing onto the roof. There, he pounds on the elevator, hitting and striking it until he eventually gives up as the elevator continues on its way.
All the characters mentioned (Jinx, Heimerdinger, and Warwick) are from the series, which helps make the experience even more immersive.

Music+Sound Awards – Finalist – Best Original Composition in a Video Game Trailer

We are beyond thrilled and honored to have been nominated for the prestigious Music+Sound Awards 2024 in the “Best Original Composition in a Video Game Trailer” category for the song and film League of Legends – Orgulho Loco.

A huge thank you to my friends at Riot Games for the honor of creating this music with you and for being part of such an important project for the Brazilian League of Legends community.

A huge thank you also to Criolo, our partner in this very special composition.

An immense thank you to everyone who worked hard to bring this music to life, especially to our wonderful team, who spent months taking care of every detail, every note, and every recording with so much love and care.

This recognition confirms something we’ve believed for a long time, which has become a mantra throughout our journey and in all the work at mdois: It’s worth taking care of our projects with attention and love.

On top of all this, we can’t even express the happiness of being in the same category, competing against John Paesano (Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Daredevil), Gareth Coker (Halo Infinite, Ori, Immortals Fenyx Rising), Blake Robinson (with Simon Landry, Pinar Toprak, and Alex Riviere), and Riot Games (also nominated with a Valorant trailer).

That’s it, my friends! It’s Brazilian music reaching places we never imagined.
