Fortnite – Let It Burn

Let It Burn — the first original Brazilian Jam Track to hit the Fortnite Festival stage!

On June 18th, we had the honor of seeing Let It Burn officially launch as part of the Season 9 Music Pass in Fortnite Festival, in a season headlined by none other than Bruno Mars (or our Bruninho, as we say here in Brazil 😎).

This release marks a historic moment for Brazilian music in games: it’s the first original Brazilian track ever featured in Fortnite Festival musical ecosystem, and it was proudly crafted by mdois.
More than just a spotlight on our culture, this track represents a meaningful step toward the recognition of Brazilian music in the global gaming scene.

Epic Games’ invitation was clear: create a high-energy, bilingual and authentic Brazilian Funk that could stand alongside some of the world’s biggest artists in the Music Pass. But the challenge went further, the track also needed to work seamlessly within the game experience, both musically and technically, with attention to gameplay dynamics and rhythmic interaction.
What came out of it was a fun, danceable pop track full of Brazilian and regional elements, crafted with soul, accent, and groove, tailored for players to enjoy in-game.

Seeing the excitement from both Brazilian and international players has been surreal. From a Brazilian perspective, it’s all about representation, cultural presence, and global visibility, all wrapped up in a funk beat made right here in our studio.

It’s truly an honor to be part of this moment and to represent a small piece of our sonic identity on one of the biggest pop culture platforms in the world.
